Le travail de l'agence d'architecture parisienne Lacaton & Vassal illustre comme nul autre le traitement expérimental des bâtiments existants. En 2021, Lacaton & Vassal recevra le prestigieux prix international d'architecture Pritzker. Le jury fait l'éloge de leur "architecture restauratrice" ; nous n'aurions pas pu mieux dire.
