Junya Ishigami

Born, 1974, Kanagawa, Japan. Lives and works in Tokyo. Graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts, MFA in Architecture in 2000. After joining Kazuyo Sejima & Associates, established junya.ishigami+associates in 2004. Awards include, Architectural Institute of Japan Prize 2009 (Kanagawa Institute of Technology, KAIT Workshop), Golden Lion award in part of the 12th International Architecture Exhibition, La Biennale di Venezia (2010).
