1.1. These General Terms and Conditions are applicable to every agreement between DE SINGEL vzw (hereinafter: ‘DE SINGEL’) and a customer of DE SINGEL, and also cover all actions carried out during the implementation of this agreement.
1.2. In these General Terms and Conditions, the customer (hereinafter: 'the Customer') is understood to mean any person or legal entity who enters into an agreement with DE SINGEL in any way, directly or indirectly, in relation to attending an event to be organised by DE SINGEL or by a third party in the DE SINGEL building, or another location used by DE SINGEL
2.1. All offers, (programme) announcements, communications and price quotes from DE SINGEL or third parties are non-binding. DE SINGEL is not liable for any errors in the information provided to the Customer.
2.2. If requested to do so, the Customer is obliged to present their entrance ticket, both when entering the building, and when the Customer has left the building during an event.
2.3. Every purchase made by the Customer is final.
2.4. The Customer is not entitled to a refund of the entrance fee or any other compensation (i) in case of loss or theft of their ticket or (ii) if the Customer does not use the ticket for any reason.
Once purchased, a ticket cannot be exchanged.

3.1. Organised resale of tickets is strictly forbidden.
4.1. It is strictly forbidden to smoke in DE SINGEL’s buildings.
4.2. It is forbidden to consume food and drink in the concert halls.
4.3. Mobile phones and smartphones must be muted throughout the performance. DE SINGEL reserves the right to prohibit specific recording equipment for each performance.
4.4. The Customer must adhere to the house rules.
5.1. The customer’s visit is at their own expense and risk.
5.2. Except in case of deliberate intent, fraud or harm to a person’s life or physical integrity, DE SINGEL’s liability is, in all circumstances, limited to the coverage provided by its insurance.
5.3. Except in case of deliberate intent, fraud or harm to a person’s life or physical integrity, DE SINGEL is in no way liable for indirect damage or consequential damage of any kind.
Thus, DE SINGEL’s liability - except in the case of deliberate intent, deception or harm to a person's life or physical integrity - is excluded for the following non-exhaustive situations:
a. damage resulting from the actions of third parties;
b. (consequential) damage as a result of unforeseeable changes to the start and end times of events covered by the agreement between DE SINGEL and the Customer;
c. force majeure situations.
6.1. Complaints about the execution of the agreement between DE SINGEL and the Customer must be sent to DE SINGEL via the email address tickets@desingel.be within 14 calendar days of the complaint arising.
6.2. The following (non-exhaustive) complaints will under no circumstances give rise to compensation from DE SINGEL:
a. complaints regarding changes to the programme, including, but not limited to, changes to the person(s) performing, to the composition of the programme, and the moving of events to a different date;
b. complaints regarding the quality of the performance of the events;
c. complaints regarding nuisance or inconvenience caused by third parties;
d. complaints regarding nuisance or inconvenience caused by the improper functioning of facilities in DE SINGEL’s halls;
e. complaints regarding the allocation and distribution of seats.

8.1. Any commercial use of DE SINGEL’s name, trademark or logo, and those of its commercial partners, is strictly forbidden and subject to prosecution.
9.1. In case of violation by the Customer of (one of) the provisions as mentioned in these General Terms and Conditions, or in case of falsification of the entrance ticket, DE SINGEL reserves the right to refuse the Customer (further) access to the event, without any right to a refund or compensation.
10.1. The theatre reserves the right to apply additional provisions to these General Terms and Conditions.
11.1. Belgian law applies to these General Terms and Conditions and to the agreement between the Customer and DE SINGEL.
11.2. The courts in Antwerp, Antwerp division, have exclusive authority to resolve any disputes arising from the agreement between the Customer and DE SINGEL.
