Koen Brams (B)
Koen Brams (b. 1964 / Turnhout, lives in Liège), studied psychology at the University of Leuven. From 1991 to 2000 he was the editor-in-chief of the art periodical 'De Witte Raaf'. Since 2000 he has been the director of the Jan van Eyck Academy in Maastricht. In 2000 he published 'De Encyclopedie van de Fictieve Kunstenaars' (publisher: Nijgh & van Ditmar), which in 2002 also appeared in German (Eichborn Verlag). He has published such articles as 'Interdisciplinariteit, Heterogeniteit' in Kunst in Crisis, compiled by Rutger Wolfson, and 'Internationaliteit' in an annual report by the Fonds voor Beeldende Kunst, Vormgeving en Bouwkunst [Art, Design and Architecture Fund], Amsterdam.
