Moritz Küng
Moritz Küng (1961, CH), exhibition curator. After studying at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam he headed the Architekturforum in Zurich and worked at 'Le Magasin', the Centre National d'Art Contemporain in Grenoble. Since 1994 he has worked as a freelance curator. He has published several exhibition catalogues, including 'Denkraum Museum' (1991), 'Another & another & another act of seeing urban space' (1997), 'Orbis Terrarum - ways of world making' (2000), 'L'Effet Larson' (2002) and 'Paramount Basics' (2002). He was the curator of the Belgian entries for the twenty-fifth Sao Paulo Biennale (2002) and the eleventh architectural biennale in Venice (2008). Since 2003 he has been in charge of the exhibition programme at deSingel International Arts Campus in Antwerp. He has created solo exhibitions of, among others, the architects Abalos & Herreros (E), R&Sie-François Roche (F), SANAA (J) and Christian Kerez (CH), and the artists Dominique Gonzales-Foerster (F), Aglaia Konrad (A), Joëlle Tuerlinckx (B) and Heimo Zobernig (A). He also set up the two long-term projects 'Curating the Campus' (2004-2010) and 'Curating the Library' (started 2003).
