ACROSS lezingenreeks

In 2020, ACROSS once again offers a platform to young architects from both sides of the language border. Four young French-language firms speak in Antwerp, and four Dutch-language firms in Liège. Every speaker will be introduced by a senior architect from the other language region.
ACROSS is founded on the observation that in Belgium there is a lack of exchange and dialogue between the French-language and Dutch-language architectural culture. It responds to this gap, offering a platform to young architectural firms to reflect on their practice and the context in which they work. Programming Dutch-speaking architects in Liège (Galerie Opéra) and French-speaking architects in Antwerp (deSingel) stimulates the dialogue between the two cultures.
