Architecture Room
With rapidly changing exhibitions in the Architecture Room, the Flemish Architecture Institute responds to contemporary research and design. It is also used to research the representation of architecture, for example through photography, and you can study fragile material in minute detail there.
Stynen kiest kunst (‘Stynen chooses art’)
Architect Léon Stynen often collaborated with visual artists: painters such as Paul Delvaux, René Guiette or Julien Van Vlasselaer created wall paintings and designed tapestries. Sculptors such as Oscar Jespers and ceramicists such as Pierre Caille created sculptural work in or around his structures. With Stynen kiest kunst (‘Stynen chooses art’) we zoom in on this collaboration and exhibit work by artists from Stynen’s entourage.
