For two seasons deSingel and the VAi (Flemish Architecture Institute) are offering eight young architectural firms a platform on which to present their ideas on architecture, urban planning and landscape design. OPEN Wed > Sun 2 > 6 / with performances 7 > 11 CLOSED Mon/Tue and holidays The architects have been commissioned to provide solutions to pressing social issues and intellectually challenging questions in the course of their preliminary sketching. The research by PT architects involves farmsteads reconstructed after the war in the West Flanders Hill Country. It reveals how the architecture, landscape, use of buildings and land create a special poetry. In reality, the new viability and potential charm PT architects introduce are laid down in official regulations. The aim of the design is to question these regulations and facilitate a dynamic future
