experience: no experience required with drama. Tim Taylor, the ambassador of MoE in the United Kingdom, provides a
fascinating programme, in which there is room to learn, explore and reflect.

for drama teachers in art education
led by Bob Selderslaghs
theme: how can Mantle of the Expert enrich the artistic process and product of your students?
language: Dutch
experience: some experience required with drama. Bob Selderslaghs, the ambassador of MoE in Flanders, provides a fascinating
programme, in which there is room to learn, explore and reflect.

A maximum of 20 participants per group will be introduced to the various aspects and possible applications of Mantle of the Expert (MoE), an approach that uses drama and research to create imaginary contexts for learning. In this approach, teachers work with their students to create
fictional settings that are used to develop knowledge, skills and insights in different areas of learning. The class group is placed at the centre of the learning process.
This Summer School MoE#4 is part of the PhD research project 'MoE 2.0' - from dramatic inquiry toward an artistic result in art education conducted by Bob Selderslaghs at the Royal Conservatoire and the University of Antwerp.
