Artiste Associé - Daniel Linehan

For a whole week, our Artiste Associé will be in the dance studio with dance students and young dance professionals. This workshop will begin with the general principles of dance: movement, time, space and concept. From here, he will be guiding a process that evolves into the embodiment of these general principles. The title of this workshop, 'Déjà Vu', alludes to Linehan's statement that something known can be given a radical new meaning by means of a new combination, association or permutation. The workshop will culminate in a presentation in which each participant will perform a short solo.
