Until We Sleep, the latest hip-hop creation from London-based choreographer Botis Seva, is a dark and atmospheric adventure; a collage of stories of resistance and change.

Amidst the oppression of leadership, a lone nomad yearns for faith as they lead a wandering community through shifting passages of time. In a sublime blend of percussion and guttural sounds, the music blends into an undulating style of movement performed by the dancers of Far From The Norm. Feathered costumes give a glimpse of warriors transcending their former identities, while piercing light transforms the stage into an unforgiving arena, reminding us of a higher power that shapes our reality. Until We Sleep brings into play the weight of hope against the burden of responsibility.
