Christian Rizzo . L'Association Fragile

Can you imagine the space you move about in itself being in constant motion? In 'mon amour', Christian Rizzo proceeds from this notion. He puts his dancers off-balance by confronting them with surroundings that are being moved by robots. Can lack of stability be a driving force for the imagination? Christian Rizzo studied plastic arts in Nice, the city of his birth. Later, he led a rock group and launched a clothing range. Traces of all these different lives can be found in his dance performances. It is the transience of dance and theatre that he finds ceaselessly captivating. Someone appears on stage only to disappear again. What happens in-between is forever erased from view. 'Mon amour' will premiere in Lille in February 2008. Because of our fascination with Christian Rizzo's work, we decided to co-produce this creation.
