Cláudia Dias
Das ciosas nascem coisas
This is the second time the Portuguese choreographer Cláudia Dias has appeared as a guest at BOUGE B. Last season she presented a solo performance in which she herself appeared on stage. Using her body and everyday objects she took the audience on a fictional walk through Lisbon. Armed with equally large doses of fantasy and intelligence, she will now present her latest creation. In this performance the choreographer shows us how you can tell a story of thousands of years in a few incidents. Her starting point is 'Das coisas nascem coisas' or 'things come from things'. On stage we see two people, one microphone and lots of cardboard boxes…
Cláudia Dias studied classical dance at the Almada Academy in Portugal. Now she mainly creates performances that come close to theatre and visual art.
