Daniel Linehan - Hiatus

Since 2010, Daniel Linehan has been a much-anticipated guest at deSingel. He will now be one of our ‘Creative Associates’ for the next five years.
His smart, playful work searches for and experiments with unusual combinations, contrasts and parallels between text, movement, image, song, video and rhythm. In ‘Flood’, Linehan studies things that have been lost on the one hand and the flood of new technologies and ideas on the other. Now that the emergence of innovations has such a dominant cultural value, while old technologies, skills and professions are disappearing at an ever-faster rate, he believes that the evolution of coming and going deserves extra attention. Following a three-week residence, ‘Flood’ will be premiering in our Theatre Studio. A ‘Made at DeSingel’ production to look forward to!
