1h 40' In November 2008 audiences saw his production 'La Pornographie des âmes'. Both sold-out performances in the Red Hall brought the house down. This young Canadian choreographer now returns with an uninhibited performance about love. In 'Un peu de tendresse bordel de merde!' Dave St-Pierre examines our modern approach to love. Together with his wonderful dancers/performers he unmistakably argues in favour of another, gentler approach. He does this with verve, humour and pastiche. Things can get quite rough on stage, including all sorts of outbursts resulting from suppressed frustrations. Instinctive, jolting and stamping movements are the heart-breaking result of a desperate need for affection. Body and soul are exposed in all their nakedness in this uninhibited performance in which stage and auditorium merge and become one physical space. Added to this is the fact that your tolerance of obscene and irritating behaviour is put to the test. Provocation, or a call for romanticism? Wait until you see the end…
