In this gripping post-apocalyptic dance film by dancer and choreographer Jay B. Cruz we see a group of dancers moving silently. They perform a mysterious choreography. Is this a group of survivors of a disaster? Is this dance a traumatic reaction to huge loss and grief? Is it an attempt to start over and rebuild everything?
Jose Jay B. Cruz is the founder of the Transitopia company. Apart from developing his own work, he gives dance workshops and researches the role and identity of dance in the Philippines. This silent film is the result of a laboratory he founded to do research in the fields of time, space, shape, motion and the representation of the human body.
