1h 15' Choreographers Gabriela Carrizo and Franck Chartier have developed their own language and style. Figures find themselves in a setting that is both hyperrealistic and strange and the everyday takes on a surreal dimension. The focus lies on body language, not text. Peeping Tom’s central theme is the sense of living in different dimensions and worlds. Secret images give rise to questions from which imaginary parallel universes unfold. The piece’s creators are not only interested in the spatial, but also in the mental, invisible and incalculable aspects of a line of thinking. What lies beneath that which is hidden, which cannot be summed up in words?
‘Mother’ is the second part of a family trilogy. It is an evocation of the world of memory and a depiction of loss.
