Triptych from Peeping Tom. A dance triptych full of mystery, humour and suspense!
This triptych from Peeping Tom was commissioned by Nederlands Dans Theater in three consecutive phases. ‘The missing door’ (2013) by Gabriela Carrizo, ‘The lost room’ and ‘The hidden floor’ (2015 and 2017) by Franck Chartier. Now for the first time in Belgium we present this integrated triptych in a performance by Peeping Tom themselves, with a completely new ensemble. In ‘Triptych’ they use special effects to their hearts’ content and combine humour with suspense. All three parts build on themes such as memory and the passing of time. Fiction and reality, past and present constantly intermingle in a disorientating, mysterious world, in which perspectives constantly tilt and the forces of nature take over…
