Anton Kuerti

He is sometimes also described as 'Canada's Alfred Brendel'. And not least because he has devoted his whole life to Beethoven's piano oeuvre. On the other side of the Atlantic Anton Kuerti is a legend. As yet he is unknown in Belgium, but we shall do everything in our power to change this. Kuerti enjoys working with young people and has trained many pianists in Canada and the United States. We are offering several of our musicians the opportunity to work with this great master for a period of three days. But Kuerti will not limit himself only to Beethoven: he will also look at the great German piano repertoire. Information and participant enrolment: chloe.herteleer@desingel.be
