The music by the American composer Alvin Curran is fascinating and also 'simply' beautiful, cheerful, moving and energetic. Sierens always touches the sore spots. In 'All Clouds and Sun', composed and improvised, tonal and atonal, electronic and acoustic, maximal and minimal elements all come together in a combination of opera, theatre and circus. An outstanding ensemble of musicians, singers, dancers, actors and circus performers present this intriguing creation.
