‘Bonneke Rita’ is a musical voyage of discovery through the highlights of the string quartet repertoire and a moving story of reconciliation and survival. Although he hardly knows her, Kasper is sent on holiday to his grandmother, Bonneke Rita, in the countryside. She runs a grocery shop that everyone in the village visits at some point. From the moment he arrives, Kasper can hear music that seems to be coming from the attic. But why doesn’t Bonneke Rita hear the music? And why does she refuse to answer his questions? Kasper’s curiosity gets the better of him and he decides to open the door to the attic…
