introduction Mark Delaere . 7.15pm . Blue Bar
Dinara Klinton is an example of the current generation of musicians whose career we can follow step by step on YouTube. A Chopin 'Ecossaise' at the age of 7. On the edge of her chair, little legs outstretched and just reaching the pedals. At the age of 8, dressed up like a doll, but confidently precise in a Haydn concerto. At the age of 12 an untamed lioness in a Rhapsody by Liszt. Her participation in numerous competitions is also documented there. An impressive record of achievements!
Dinara Klinton is the second pianist in the 'Building Bridges' programme - heard and approved by András Schiff. Klinton is Ukrainian and among other things studied under Elisso Wirssaladze at the Moscow State Conservatoire for five years. In fact that already tells you enough. At the age of 27, Dinara will be enjoying a dazzling debut at deSingel.
