This time he curates and directs a programme centred around a selection of concert arias from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The German soprano Christiane Karg is the perfect companion to all that Mozartian beauty. Jacobs flanks the sung high classicism with instrumental flair in the form of Carl Maria von Weber's stimulating overture from Der Freischütz, and Schubert's grand Symphony No. 9.
