Christoph Prégardien & Christoph Schnackertz

By general request, you can once again hear Christoph Prégardien in our Lieder series. In the post-Fischer-Dieskau era, Prégardien has with his performances of Schubert songs set a new standard from which generations of Lieder performers will long be able to benefit. His first love remains Schubert and German Lieder, but in recent years he has also taken a fancy to the English repertoire.
