Two of today’s most distinctive musical personalities together at DE SINGEL!
The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra has an exceptional eye for conductors. After the orchestra had launched the careers of Sir Simon Rattle and Andris Nelson, amongst others, it gave the young Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla a permanent place on the conductor’s podium in 2016. With her extraordinary energy, the Lithuanian conductor developed at breakneck speed into one of the world’s most prized conductors. Standing at her side is the Moldavian violist Patricia Kopatsjinskaja, recipient of a Grammy Award. Two of today’s most distinctive musical personalities!
