For a whole day, young and old can immerse themselves in Flemish choral scores in talks, workshops and concerts. An aperitif concert introduces you to highlights from the history of Flemish choral music, from Peter Benoit through Jules Van Nuffel to Vic Nees and Kurt Bikkembergs. After that, let yourself be inspired by the specialised workshops on music for youth choirs, female and mixed choirs, focusing both on the romantic repertoire and the latest generation of choral composers. Or do you prefer singing a simpler repertoire for a mixed three-voice chorus? For children and children's choirs there are workshops on adaptations of Jan Coeck's 'Is better still a long way off?'.
