Eersteklasconcerten 2018

Musica’s ‘Eersteklasconcerten’ (‘First Class Concerts’) are an interactive musical discovery trail for children in their first year of primary school. Their award-winning format demolishes the boundaries between listening, actively experiencing and performing together. The ‘Eersteklasconcerten’ prove that young children can be incredibly enthusiastic about music from both the present and the past, regardless of its complexity.

The trail through the deSingel building takes around 90 minutes and consists of three mini-workshops, each linked to a short concert. The workshops playfully illuminate one or more aspects of the music being performed. The musicians are taken from Het Collectief chamber music ensemble, with a focus on the 20^th-century repertoire. Teachers receive an information folder with accessible ideas for musical follow-up in the classroom.

trail 1: 9.15 am > 10.45 am

trail 2: 11:15 am > 12.45 pm 

trail 3: 1.45 pm > 3.15 pm

 

each trail takes approximately 90 mins

3 groups of max. 30 children are allowed on each trail | €3 per pupil
