Efterklang enchants with rich, melodic indie pop and dynamic, intimate live performances.
The Danish indie pop band Efterklang - known for their rich, melodic music full of subtle electronic elements and the unique, both fragile and powerful voice of singer Casper Clausen – have already enchanted the audience at DE SINGEL in the past. For the upcoming concert you can expect a joyous journey through Efterklang's catalogue and music from the new album, Things We Have In Common.
Expect a euphoric and transforming journey through brand new music and timeless classics with one of the most charming live-bands on the planet. The ever-exploring Danish band has been releasing acclaimed albums since 2004, and ingeniously weave together elements from pop, indie-rock, post-rock, and electronic music.
Efterklang has a special gift for creating concert experiences that are inclusive and inspiring as well as experimental and highly ambitious. The three childhood friends and founding band members (Mads Brauer, Casper Clausen, Rasmus Stolberg) will be joined by Finnish drummer Tatu Rönkkö, Guatamalan cellist and singer Mabe Fratti, Venezuelan guitarist Hector Tosta and special guests on stage.
As a special treat, Efterklang are inviting the Canadian folk artist Basia Bulat, who will open up the evening with her buttersoft voice. The singer-songwriter will release her new album Basia's Palace in February 2025 and we are looking forward to a little preview of her new dreamy music.
