Evgeni Koroliov

Evgeni Koroliov studied in Moscow with the legendary Heinrich Neuhaus and Maria Yudina. He was the winner of, among other things, the Bach Wettbewerb in Leipzig (1968), the Van Cliburn Competition (1973) and the Grand Prix Clara Haskil Vevey-Montreux (1977), and exchanged a highly promising career in Russia for a professorship at the Hamburg Musikhochschule, where Anna Vinnitskaya was one of his students. A number of musicians from Belgium are privileged to be able to work for two days on the great German piano repertoire with this renowned piano teacher.
