Felicity Lott - Thomas Allen - Graham Johnson

The soprano Dame Felicity Lott and pianist Graham Johnson have been a successful lieder duo since they were students together at the Royal Academy of Music in London. The baritone Sir Thomas Allen made his name primarily as an opera singer. In this recital, these three major British performers introduce their favourite songs and duets. The programme is very British in flavour, with songs ranging from Purcell to the twentieth-century lieder writers Quilter and Warlock, and with an outing into the world of operetta and musical.
