1h 30' Flying Horseman is the group centred on the singer-songwriter and guitarist Bert Dockx. With his shadowy lyrics, impassioned delivery and inventive guitar work, he is a major figure on the Flemish music scene. But the group is increasingly showing itself to be a six-headed organism with a single heartbeat and a single nervous system. It has resolved to create a set that gives free rein to its musical and thematic obsessions and where the individual members of the band are spotlighted more than ever. You can expect an uninterrupted musical work with a slick visual setting, where songs clash with epic instrumentals and where social commitment, rage, indignation and revolutionary ardour go hand in hand with existential concerns and the most intimate desires. It is an attempt to translate these six wandering souls' dreams and fears into sound as nakedly and confrontationally as possible and to present them on stage. Sometimes ominous, howling at the full moon or straying in a morning mist staged by John Carpenter. Or else curling around a glass of grainy Ry Cooder blues. With their night-time blues, Flying Horseman get under your skin like an insidious poison and make for a listening experience of blood-curdling beauty.
