Follow The Sound 2012
Festivaldag 2
Since 2005 Follow the Sound has been a firm friend on our art campus, with music and musicians who set great store by adventure and innovation. Day Two of the festival opens with the godfather of the festival, Fred Van Hove; at his side two vibraphonists, Jason Adasiewicz and Els Vandeweyer. Exciting as ever. Just as thrilling is Othin Spake, one of the many guises of dEUS guitarist Mauro Pawlowski, with his close friends Jozef Dumoulin and Teun Verbruggen and a few lesser-known guests. After that, none other than the excellent Joe McPhee will provide an intermezzo on various reed instruments.
Saxophonist Christine Abdelnour and guitarist Ryan Kernoa know each other from the film project 'Split Second' with Stefano Canapa. Their musical dialogue will be expanded upon in this concert, without the film.
Finally, a trio under the name 'Dans Dans' with three gentlemen who successfully fuse their love for rock and jazz into an eclectic and electrifying ensemble. Time to dance!
