HERMESensemble with conductor Ed Spanjaard again promises a unique audio-visual spectacle
The combination of film and new music has been part of HERMESensemble’s core DNA for twenty years. The adventurous conductor Ed Spanjaard, connoisseur and champion of the contemporary repertoire, unites the soloists of the HERMESensemble with emerging talent from the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp. In the background are powerful images from visual artists including Fernand Léger, Man Ray and Bill Viola. Expect a unique audio-visual spectacle about how the avant-garde of a hundred years ago predicted the ecological themes of the 21st century.
