Het strijkkwartet van Meneer Sax - vanaf 6 jaar

Today we are going to march like a real brass band! That sounds festive, but what does it sound like if the band is tired, and doesn’t feel like marching down the street anymore? Or if a girl in the band gets a love letter and the others are jealous? In ‘Het strijkkwartet van Meneer Sax’, a brass band plays on the square where Mr. Sax lives. Johannes, Dineke, Paulina and Simone only discover who he is when the door of his mysterious house finally opens.

‘Het strijkkwartet van Meneer Sax’ is a theatrical concert for everyone aged 6 years and over, with the wind instruments of the scintillating Ebonit Saxophone Quartet. Director Jochem Stavenuiter (Mimetheatergroep Bambie) turns it into a captivating parade with plenty of humour. With music that includes works by Ligeti, Ravel, Bach and Rossini.
