The four members of the Jerusalem Quartet think and breathe as one. Their perfect synchronisation has added a new dimension to quartet playing. They play with such impeccable internal balance and flawless collective intonation. Their ensemble playing is spot on and so integrated that it is impossible to say who is taking the lead. Everything moves organically and seems steered by an unfathomable inner energy. The sensations that these four musicians are able to engender will send shivers up and down your spine and produce endless surprises! With Russian blood coursing through their veins, we are sure you will relish the intense interpretation of the Second Quartet by Alexander Borodin (1833-1887). The Notturno, the third section, is especially exciting and gained popularity due to its heavily spun-out Slavic lyricism reminiscent of Tchaikovsky's style.
