Jan Caeyers and Le Concert Olympique tackle early compositions by Beethoven et al.
Due to the current corona measures, we are unfortunately forced to cancel this concert. Ticket holders will be contacted personally.
When Beethoven gave a concert in Vienna at the age of 17, he left an impressive calling card with his Piano Concerto No. 2 (chronologically his first). At the same age, Schubert composed more than 140 songs and two symphonies in his miracle year 1815. Bizet too was barely 18 when he composed his Symphony No. 1. The work was only rediscovered and given due recognition after his death. Jan Caeyers and Le Concert Olympique throw themselves enthusiastically into the early compositions by these grand masters.
