Leonkoro Quartett

Prizes in the arts are not everything. But if, like the up-and-coming Leonkoro Quartett, you've won seven important awards in barely two years’ time, you’d be mad not to pay attention. The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung has already described their ‘stage presence, endurance, daring and punctuality’ as legendary. That’s something with which we can wholeheartedly agree. In the Blue Hall, as well as a string quartet by Haydn - for which they won an award at Wigmore Hall – and Brahms, also the seldom-performed String Quartet No. 9 by Wolfgang Rihm.
