For HUNTER, Flemish director, composer, and multidisciplinary creator Liesa Van der Aa collaborates with the Berlin vocal ensemble B O D I E S. What begins as a game with rules and strategies unfolds into a reflection on competition, power, and the human condition.
Inspired by Björk's Homogenic, the performance intertwines the playful voices of B O D I E S with new compositions by Van der Aa, songs by Björk, and electronic sounds. A musical arena thus emerges in which play, rhythm, and emotion spur each other on.
HUNTER is a quest for what moves us - a musical battle against numbness and social disarray, a hunt for the heart.
