LUDWIG and Lucie Horsch present an idiosyncratic Christmas concert!
LUDWIG does not like to stay on the familiar paths. This is true of the well-known composer who set the course for Romantic music, but equally applies to the eponymous Dutch collective that is following in his footsteps in seeking out new artistic roads. Neither will you find well-trodden paths in the CV of Lucie Horsch, one of the collective’s youngest and most remarkable ambassadors. In her hands, the recorder, an apparently simple instrument, becomes a boundless source of musical expression and virtuosity. Together they present an idiosyncratic Christmas concert in which traditional music from different folk cultures and baroque Christmas music go hand in hand.
