LYENN & ChampdAction

LYENN is the alter ego of singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Frederic Lyenn Jacques. In 2016 he brought out the much-feted album ‘Slow Healer’. His numbers are embedded in an intriguing universe of magic and melancholy sounds. His voice has an extremely broad range and goes from angelic whispering to ecstatic cries. For this new project with ChampdAction, he starts out from the position of vulnerability versus strength. The encounter between two worlds - pop and experimental music - that initially appear different is a central tenet of this project. Vocal Tract reveals an uninhibited eloquence which arises from this interconnectedness.
