Mahler Chamber Orchestra olv. Leif Ove Andsnes

The Mahler Chamber Orchestra was founded in 1997 under the leadership of the legendary conductor Claudio Abbado and today tours the world almost uninterrupted with a core group of 45 musicians from more than 20 countries. They regularly perform without a conductor, and here too the star pianist Leif Ove Andsnes will be conducting the concert from his piano stool. Thus Andsnes is following in the footsteps of Mozart, whose two most famous piano concerti he will be conjuring up from the keys. Next up, two Haydn symphonies: 'La Poule' and ‘La Reine’,  a further delicacy for connoisseurs. In short: Mozart Momentum I is a concert in which intimacy is paired with vitality at the very highest level. Unmissable! And the same applies to the follow-up a year later.
