Video virtuoso Michael Beil returns to DE SINGEL with a high-tech trip!
Following on from his striking appearances with Exit to Enter and Bluff, the German composer and video virtuoso Michael Beil returns to DE SINGEL. In his new transdisciplinary performance Hide to Show, eight lonely musicians are imprisoned in the world of Hatsune Miku, a fictitious Japanese character and virtuoso singer. In this new unheimlich reality, nothing is what it seems. Do the musicians escape from it, or do they embrace it? Hide to Show is a tour de force, a high-tech trip in which music, live video and scenography seamlessly overlap.
