The young Flemish ensemble Nadar is creating a furore both at home and abroad. Besides composer-director Daan Janssens and composer-pianist Stefan Prins, there is also the Danish composer and rising star, Simon Steen-Andersen, one of the artists in residence. Their programme for our Music Studio begins with the favourite 'Nothing Integrated' by Steen-Andersen, a work for extremely amplified clarinet, percussion, cello and live video. 'Musik mit Musik' is the credo of the young German composer Johannes Kreidler. For 'In Hyper Intervals', too, he uses a gigantic data base of samples, cut up and transformed into dialogue with acoustic instruments. In 'Fremdkörper #1' by Stefan Prins, four instruments and live electronics are amplified by guitar amplifiers. In the second part of the concert, the public are led out of the concert hall and conducted to the Blue Foyer, where it can see Kreidler's 'Fremdarbeit' in an informal setting. At the end, a refreshing glass awaits you.
