In past concert seasons, we got to know Pavel Kolesnikov as a concert soloist, chamber musician and as Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s dance partner in their fabulous Goldberg Variations. Now he will be our guest alone for the first time on the Blue Hall stage. Kolesnikov guarantees subtle, colourful splendour, a refreshing musical language that makes well-known scores sound new. Anyone who has previously heard this piano poet at work will already have put a ring around this date.
