A dream collaboration between François-Xavier Roth and Sabine Devieilhe
In no time at all, conductor François-Xavier Roth was able to build his adventurous orchestra Les Siècles into an international reference point. In their hands, Mozart and Beethoven are injected with an invigorating freshness. The spirited soprano Sabine Devieilhe has also garnered global praise and renown for her empathic interpretations of Mozart. The familiar opening theme of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 already sounds like the work itself: monumental and overwhelming. A dream collaboration for a sparkling concert!
