Beethoven expert Jan Caeyers conducts a world premiere flanked by Sabine Meyer!
The Clarinet Concerto was one of Mozart’s final complete works, Schubert never finished his Symphony No. 8, and Beethoven’s sketches for a Symphony No. 10 stayed in his desk drawer. The German composer Jens Joneleit, once lauded by Pierre Boulez, drew his inspiration for Beethoven X from the sketches for that Symphony No. 10. Who could be better placed to conduct this world premiere than Beethoven expert Jan Caeyers with his Le Concert Olympique? For this he is flanked by the internationally renowned clarinettist Sabine Meyer.
