BIG BANG is one hundred per cent musical discovery. And let that be exactly what you will do when you enter Susurrus.
Imagine an installation that you can single-handedly transform into an acoustic carpet of sound. How does that work? Well. Air creates vibration. And vibration for sound. That's why at the centre of Susurrus is a colourful, inflatable air castle with four large sound objects. Like a real conductor, you control them all: two large PVC pipes look suspiciously like pan flutes, the strainer is actually one big vocal cord and the noise gramophone is a good old-fashioned acoustic horn.
Feel free to experiment, explore the different sound possibilities and play with the sounds around you. I am curious to see what compositions you can pull off...
