1h Following the successful production ‘Eén been / Eén vleugel’, Dimitri Leue and pianist Kiyotaka Izumi create a new musical narrative for eyes and ears both big and small. ‘Wolinoti. Het Houten Kind’ tells the tale of a Saxon woodcutter and his city-raised Saxon wife. They live together in a Saxon wood in a Saxon forest cabin with a Saxon roof that is supported by Saxon branches. They are in love but feel that something is missing. With a great deal of imagination and love, they fill the void.
Actor and writer Dimitri Leue brings the words to life and sparks our imagination. Pianist Kiyotaka Izumi gives the story wings with enchanting music by Robert Schumann.Scenographers Vanessa Verstappen and Eva De Mul depict woodcarvings and emotions.
