Zonzo Compagnie and Revue Blanche introduce the colourful figure: Maurice Ravel. Bonjour!
Maurice Ravel was a colourful figure. On photos he is often to be seen with flowery bows, or a trendy tie with polka dots. He even curled the tips of his moustache like a hipster. But above all, there are few composers who could tell such colourful stories with music: the fairy-tales of Mother Goose, the spooky Gaspard de la Nuit or the lyrical fantasy L'Enfant et les sortilèges.
In their new performance, Zonzo Compagnie gets into the head of this musical master storyteller. The son of an inventor, who has never stopped thinking about how the cogs of the world fit together. Who always continued to look around him with a childish enthusiasm. Revue Blanche - specialists in the fin-de-siècle French repertoire - take you on a stroll through his most interesting music.
