BERLIN
Land's End
A murder case in Belgium involving French suspects. BERLIN illuminates all perspectives.
A new creation from our Creative Associate BERLIN awaits you at the end of the season, but first we are staging a revival of ‘Land’s End’, created in 2011 and selected for the Theatre Festival in 2012. In this performance, BERLIN takes a look at a murder case in a small community in Belgium involving suspects from over the national border with France. In ‘Land's End’ they are brought together again years later. Half documentary, half fiction, BERLIN opens up a range of perspectives on a single crime. A performance that reminds us how absurd borders can be, and how lies and confusion can rapidly overtake the truth. A combination of strong acting, installation art and ingenious film montage make ‘Land’s End’ a performance that is more than worth (re)discovering.
